U11 B Team Finalists at Forest Finals International Silver Stick
Over the past weekend or East Elgin Attack U11 B Rep team attended the International Silver Stick Finals in Forest, ON.
We played two round robin games on Friday, beating Saugeen Shores 7-1, and then beating Lambton Shores 4-2.
On Saturday we played two more round robin games, beating Montgomery (team from Maryland, USA) 6-1 and then beating Ilderton 3-2. With the win against Ilderton, we secured the top seed after round robin play, and secured the bye directly to the finals on Sunday at 1230pm.
In the finals, we ended up playing Ilderton again, but this time we lost 3-2.
The team played great hockey all weekend, unfortunately we were unable to get the win in the finals, but this is still a big accomplishment.
