week of full ice, they went to Belle River where they went 2-3, beating Leaside
and Guelph. They finished first in the Aylmer tournament with a 5-0 record

The U11C Team almost never existed but it ended better than could have
ever been anticipated! The had great bonding times including a Halloween Dance, a Knights Game and Christmas
party at the Hockey Barn. We ended our season with 30-30-10 record. The team
received silver medals in the West Lorne, Buffalo and Aylmer tournaments, as
well as being finalist in both the Regional and International Silver Stick
tournaments. To top our season off, we played our best hockey of the year and
defeated our arch-rival Norwich in the U11 Southern Counties Tier 3 finals to
become Southern Counties Tier 3 Champions! We were honoured to represent East
Elgin and our communities at the OMHA Finals in Halton Hills. The team
developed so much from the beginning of the season to the end. Our
coaching staff have enjoyed watching our players grow as athletes, and as
people. They have learned to persevere, always try their hardest, adapt to new
surroundings, and to never quit. What a great first year together as a
newly formed organization!
The U13B Team had an overall record of 37-3-5 record, their 3 losses came against only one team, their arch nemesis
Ayr going 3-3-2 against them during the season. They were defeated in the
Southern Counties Tier 1 championship finals by that same Ayr team 2 games
to 1. They won the Boston Pizza and Aylmer Tournament. Overall, it was a great
year and a great group of kids.
The
U15B Team had a good season with an overall record of 19-8-8 and competed in
Tier 1 of the southern counties league, finishing second in the regular season
but fell short in the OMHA qualifying semi-finals.
The
U18B Team had a great season culminating with a berth at the OMHA Tier 1 Championships
in Kingston. The teams overall record this year was 26-16-9 good enough for
first place in Tier 1 and a meeting with the Tavistock Titans. The team won that
series 2 games to 1 in dramatic fashion and represented East Elgin proudly at
the OMHA tournament.
